Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Active SLPA license (or eligibility to obtain) in Washington State
  • Previous experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations preferred
  • Familiarity with IEPs and ability to document treatment plans/progress notes accurately
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
  • Adaptable, organized, and a clear communicator with students, staff, and families

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Implement therapy activities tailored to individual student needs and IEP goals
  • Document session notes, maintain data collection, and monitor student progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and team members to support students’ communication goals
  • Assist with screenings, assessments, and preparation of therapy materials
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive school culture
