Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Hold an active SLPA license valid in Maryland.
- Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred.
- Solid communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong teamwork capabilities with teachers, staff, and lead SLPs.
- Proficiency in following education plans and instructions from a supervising SLP.
- Flexibility and adaptability in dynamic school environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students in achieving communication goals under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Assist in the development and execution of therapy activities tailored to individual and group needs.
- Contribute to documentation, progress notes, and ongoing data collection.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and other education professionals to integrate speech support strategies throughout the school day.
- Participate in IEP meetings as appropriate, providing valuable input on student progress.
- Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines.
