Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Hold an active SLPA license valid in Maryland.
• Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred.
• Solid communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong teamwork capabilities with teachers, staff, and lead SLPs.
• Proficiency in following education plans and instructions from a supervising SLP.
• Flexibility and adaptability in dynamic school environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support students in achieving communication goals under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Assist in the development and execution of therapy activities tailored to individual and group needs.
• Contribute to documentation, progress notes, and ongoing data collection.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and other education professionals to integrate speech support strategies throughout the school day.
• Participate in IEP meetings as appropriate, providing valuable input on student progress.
• Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines.
