Desired Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program
• Valid SLPA licensure/certification, meeting state requirements
• Previous experience supporting SLPs in school or healthcare settings
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
• Adaptability when working with children and adolescents with diverse needs
• Ability to document sessions and maintain confidentiality

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist SLPs with executing therapy sessions tailored to individual student goals
• Carry out targeted articulation, language, fluency, and pragmatic interventions
• Collect and report data on student progress under SLP supervision
• Support accurate documentation and contribute to IEP or service planning meetings as needed
• Provide a positive, encouraging, and supportive learning environment
• Communicate regularly with teachers and caregivers regarding student updates
• Maintain compliance with all school, district, and healthcare guidelines
