Key Attributes & Experience Sought:

  • Active state licensure as an SLPA
  • Prior experience in a school setting is highly advantageous
  • Capable of delivering both direct and indirect speech and language services
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with supervising SLP, teachers, and families
  • Proficiency in maintaining accurate records and documentation
  • Commitment to fostering a supportive, inclusive environment for students

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and indirect speech/language therapy to students under the supervision of a licensed SLP
  • Assist with screenings, assessments, and documentation of student progress
  • Implement individualized education program (IEP) goals and therapy activities
  • Support the speech-language team in developing strategies that promote student success
  • Participate in regular meetings regarding student care as needed
  • Maintain confidentiality and compliance with all procedural and legal requirements
