Soliant Health is hiring a Speech Language Pathologist or SLP-Assistant for the upcoming school year to work in a school district in the Havelock, NC area. The position involves standard SLP and SLPA duties including meeting participation, multidisciplinary team collaboration, report writing, treatment, and testing. The SLP or SLPA will be a part of a multi-tiered system of support to provide a comprehensive approach that strides to identify and treat the individual needs of all students. This is a fantastic opportunity for SLP/As that are passionate about pediatrics and working in a supportive environment.

Job Description:

  • 26-27 School Year
  • Full time, district may be able to arrange part time
  • Complete IEPs, assessments, treatment, and documentation for students with speech, voice, hearing and language impairments
  • Collaborate on an interdisciplinary team
  • Work Hours are typically 8:00 AM-3:30 PM, 37.5 hours per week

Requirements:

  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Previous school or pediatric experience preferred but not required
  • Must have active NC SLP license or the ability to apply for one or NC SLPA registration

  • ASHA certification is a PLUS, but Clinical Fellows are welcome to apply

Compensation:

  • Guaranteed hours for direct and indirect services
  • Travel stipends available if qualifications are met
  • W2 pay between $30-50/hour
