Desired Qualifications:
- Current SLPA licensure or certification in California
- Experience working in either school or healthcare settings with diverse student populations
- Familiarity with speech, language, and communication intervention techniques
- Strong ability to collaborate with Speech-Language Pathologists, educators, and families
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the supervising SLP in delivering speech and language therapy to students according to their IEPs or intervention plans
- Implement therapy activities and accurately track student progress
- Support in preparing materials and maintaining a well-organized therapy environment
- Participate in team meetings and contribute insights on student performance and progress
- Adapt to the evolving needs of a school-based caseload and provide support both one-on-one and in small groups
