School-Based Speech Language Pathologist Assistant - Hayward, California

Desired Qualifications:

• Current SLPA licensure or certification in California
• Experience working in either school or healthcare settings with diverse student populations
• Familiarity with speech, language, and communication intervention techniques
• Strong ability to collaborate with Speech-Language Pathologists, educators, and families
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the supervising SLP in delivering speech and language therapy to students according to their IEPs or intervention plans
• Implement therapy activities and accurately track student progress
• Support in preparing materials and maintaining a well-organized therapy environment
• Participate in team meetings and contribute insights on student performance and progress
• Adapt to the evolving needs of a school-based caseload and provide support both one-on-one and in small groups
