Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Speech Communications, or related major, or an Associate’s degree from a recognized SLPA program
- Active SLPA license or certification
- Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, including the ability to support students and staff during challenging situations
- Willingness and ability to travel between school buildings as needed throughout the school day
- Commitment to adhering to student Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Experience working with children in educational settings preferred
Responsibilities:
- Deliver both direct and indirect speech and language services under SLP supervision, following IEP guidelines
- Implement evidence-based interventions and track student progress
- Maintain thorough documentation and timely communication with supervising SLPs and other school staff
- Support classroom activities and adapt communication strategies based on individual student needs
- Attend professional development, training sessions, and maintain required certifications
- Provide services exclusively onsite; virtual therapy is not available for this role
This contract position includes scheduled, guaranteed hours, support for licensure and credentialing, paid training, and comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance plans.
