Speech & Language Pathology Assistant in Healdsburg, CA

An opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support students from kindergarten through 12th grade. This position is based in Healdsburg, CA, and is offered on a contract basis with the option of full-time or part-time hours. The assignment runs from ASAP through the end of the current school year, with potential for continuation into the 2025-2026 school year.

Responsibilities include assisting licensed speech-language pathologists by implementing individualized therapy plans, supporting students’ communication goals, and maintaining accurate documentation of student progress. The role involves working closely with students across a diverse K-12 caseload, adapting strategies to meet individual needs in a school setting.

Desired qualifications and experience:

• Completion of SLPA training and certification appropriate for school settings
• Experience working with children and adolescents in a speech-language support capacity
• Ability to follow treatment plans and communicate effectively with supervising clinicians, students, and school staff
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for documentation and scheduling
• Flexibility to work full-time or part-time depending on program needs
