Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Valid SLPA licensure (or eligibility) in Virginia
  • Previous experience in school-based settings preferred
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to implement therapy plans under the guidance of a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Passion for supporting student growth and learning

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct therapy services to students as directed by supervising SLP
  • Assist in assessments and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Communicate progress with educators and families
  • Support classroom activities to enhance student outcomes
