In this contract position, you’ll work onsite at a dedicated elementary school, assisting students in reaching their speech and language goals. Guided by a licensed Speech Language Pathologist, you will help deliver therapy services, implement individualized treatment plans, document progress, and partner closely with both educators and support staff—all within a collaborative school environment.
Desired Qualifications:
- Hold an active Georgia SLPA license or appropriate state certification
- Experience in school-based settings is highly valued
- Demonstrated ability to follow SLP-led treatment plans
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills
- Effective communicator with team members, students, and families
- Ready to commit to a full-time, onsite role (37.5 hours/week, Monday–Friday) for the entire school year
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language support under SLP supervision
- Assist in creating and implementing student treatment plans
- Track and maintain accurate records of student progress
- Collaborate with school staff to support students’ education and therapy goals
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the IEP process as needed
- Maintain compliance with district and state protocols
- Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment for students
