Qualifications & Desired Background:

  • Associate’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant studies or related field (required)
  • Valid state SLPA license or eligibility to obtain
  • Previous experience working with children in schools or similar settings preferred
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time management abilities
  • Team-oriented approach with a dedication to student success

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement therapy plans developed by supervising Speech-Language Pathologists
  • Conduct group and individual speech/language sessions to support students’ IEP goals
  • Collect and document data on student progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other school professionals
  • Support the administrative aspects of therapy, including preparation of materials and schedule coordination
  • Help foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment for students with communication needs
