Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Associate’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant or related field
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility to practice as an SLPA
  • Experience working with children, preferably in a school environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to implement therapy plans, document progress, and manage a dynamic caseload
  • Organizational skills and a collaborative team spirit

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students as directed by a licensed SLP
  • Assist with assessments and data collection for student progress monitoring
  • Maintain detailed documentation in compliance with school and legal requirements
  • Support IEP implementation through collaboration with teachers and staff
  • Participate in team meetings and provide input regarding student progress
  • Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and multidisciplinary professionals
