Step into an impactful role supporting students’ communication development as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. In this contract position, you’ll collaborate with a dedicated team to deliver high-quality speech and language support in a rewarding school-based environment near Hope Mills, NC. Caseload specifics will be shared during the interview, ensuring a great fit for your expertise and interests.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid North Carolina SLPA license required
  • Experience in school settings or with pediatric populations preferred
  • Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to follow treatment plans designed by a Speech Language Pathologist
  • Comfortable working full time for the entirety of the 2026-2027 school year

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to students under the supervision of an SLP
  • Implement individualized education programs (IEPs) focusing on communication goals
  • Collect and document data on student progress
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers
  • Contribute to team meetings and communicate student needs as appropriate
  • Maintain compliance with all state and school regulations and protocols
