Apply NowEmbark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant for the 2026-2027 school year! This full-time position offers the chance to inspire and empower learners at multiple school sites—elementary, middle, or high school—just outside Hope Mills, NC.
You’ll work Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week, in a collaborative, onsite environment with dedicated professionals. As an important member of the team, your expertise will help guide students toward their communication goals.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active NC Speech Language Pathologist Assistant license (required)
- Experience in school-based or healthcare settings as an SLPA
- Strong organizational skills for managing caseloads across different school age groups
- Ability to work collaboratively with supervising SLPs, teachers, and support staff
- Excellent interpersonal and communicative abilities with students and families
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy and support to students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
- Implement individual or group treatment sessions for diverse speech/language needs
- Document progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with district and regulatory policies
- Contribute to IEP meetings and assist in crafting targeted intervention plans
- Foster a positive, engaging, and inclusive classroom experience
