Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

  • Valid SLPA license in the state of Texas
  • Prior experience in school-based settings is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with IEP processes, student documentation, and therapy plan implementation
  • Excellent communication skills and collaborative approach to working with educators, therapists, and families
  • Flexibility and adaptability within a dynamic school environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist speech-language pathologists in providing therapy services to students as outlined in IEPs
  • Implement speech and language intervention strategies under supervision
  • Prepare and organize materials for sessions to support student communication goals
  • Monitor and document student progress, maintaining thorough and accurate records
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to maximize student success and integrate therapy goals into the classroom setting
  • Participate in team meetings, professional development, and parent conferences as needed
