Step into a dynamic school environment serving students in both a middle and high school setting, located near Houston, TX. This full academic year contract opportunity is ideal for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) with a passion for collaborative support and student success.

In this role, you will be splitting your time between two campuses, offering your skills and care to a diverse caseload while working closely with seasoned school staff. Proficiency in sign language—enough to hold a comfortable conversation—is essential for this position.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Active SLPA license in Texas
  • Experience supporting students in school settings
  • Proficient conversational skills in sign language
  • Comfort adapting between middle and high school age groups
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with teachers, families, and fellow therapists
  • Ability to work onsite; remote/virtual opportunities are not available
  • Flexibility for either full-time (35 hours/week) or part-time (min. 3 days/week) schedule

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering speech-language therapy sessions under the supervision of an SLP
  • Assisting with IEP documentation and supporting progress reports
  • Leading small groups and individual student sessions
  • Supporting students using sign language as needed
  • Attending meetings and contributing to a positive, inclusive learning environment
  • Traveling between assigned campuses as part of your weekly schedule

You'll be joining a supportive educational team, with opportunities for professional growth throughout your assignment. The contract starts August 12, 2026 and continues through May 27, 2027, following the full school year calendar.
