An immediate contract opportunity is available for a skilled professional to support two school campuses—Furr High School and Edison Middle School. What you’ll need to bring:

• Active Texas SLPA license in hand (licensure must be complete at time of application)
• Prior experience providing SLPA services in school settings
• Reliable transportation and the ability to commute confidently between Furr High School and Edison Middle School
• On-site availability and willingness to work at both campuses (please confirm with us that your commute is feasible)
• Ability to complete and cover the cost of HISD fingerprinting within three days of signing a contract
• Willingness to purchase a laptop for immediate use (with subsequent reimbursement)
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills

Primary responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and indirect speech-language services under SLP supervision
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary school teams to support student communication goals
• Maintain student records and assist with progress documentation
• Provide services in individual and group settings, adapting activities to meet students’ needs
• Foster an inclusive, supportive educational environment
