Qualifications/Experience:

• Current or pending license as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
• Previous experience with elementary school-aged children is preferred
• Familiarity with IEP process and documentation
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt to various classroom settings and student needs
• Strong collaboration skills for working with educators, therapists, and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out treatment plans as directed by supervising Speech-Language Pathologist
• Work with 1st through 5th grade students, both individually and in small groups, to support speech and language goals
• Document student progress accurately and maintain thorough records
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate speech/language strategies into classroom routines
• Support family engagement and provide resources as needed
• Participate in team meetings, trainings, and contribute to a positive school culture
