Ideal Candidates Will Have:

• Active Texas SLPA license (licensure in hand; screenshot required at submission)
• Recent, school-based experience as an SLPA
• Ability and commitment to reliably commute between Furr High School and Edison Middle School
• On-site availability only, with reliable transportation
• Aptitude and willingness to complete HISD fingerprinting within the first 3 days of contract

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality speech therapy services to students at both campuses
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and supervising SLPs to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Manage caseload documentation and compliance within district guidelines
• Engage in ongoing professional development provided through the district
