In this role, you’ll:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify student needs and recommend interventions
  • Provide both direct and indirect speech-language services tailored to individual students
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings, contributing valuable input to the overall support plan
  • Maintain thorough documentation and ensure compliance with school and district protocols
  • Communicate professionally with teachers, families, and the special education team
  • Adapt your services to meet the diverse needs of a varied PreK–12th grade caseload

Key qualifications and experience:

  • Completion of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program
  • Valid state SLPA license or eligibility
  • Prior experience in a school setting is preferred, especially with PreK–12th grade
  • Confident communication skills and a collaborative approach
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
  • Willingness and availability for onsite work only throughout the full contract period
