You’ll begin as soon as possible, immersing yourself in a dynamic educational setting. Direct supervision will be provided by the onsite SLP as well as guidance from the SLP department chair, ensuring robust mentorship and a supportive working environment.

Key Qualifications:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited SLPA program
  • Indiana state licensure as an SLPA
  • Experience working with school-aged children in educational or comparable settings
  • Solid understanding of speech and language development, assessment, and intervention strategies
  • Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet varying student needs across grade levels

Role Responsibilities:

  • Carry out speech and language interventions designed by supervising SLPs
  • Work one-on-one or in small groups with students to implement individualized plans
  • Assist in the collection and documentation of student progress data
  • Support generalization of speech and language skills in classroom and social settings
  • Collaborate with teachers, SLPs, and other staff to optimize student outcomes
  • Prepare or modify therapy materials as directed
