Key Qualifications:
- Active SLPA credential in the state or eligibility for Indiana SLPA licensure
- Previous experience working with K-12 students preferred, though recent graduates are welcome to apply
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage students, staff, and families
- Ability to implement therapy plans under the supervision of a certified SLP
- Flexibility, reliability, and enthusiasm for working in school environments
Primary Responsibilities:
- Carry out speech and language therapy activities as directed by supervising SLP
- Support students’ individual education plans (IEPs) by providing direct and indirect services
- Record and maintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapy sessions
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to contribute to student success
- Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities
