School-Based Speech Language Pathologist Assistant - Indianapolis, IN

Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

• Valid SLPA license for Indiana or eligible for state licensure
• Experience working with school-aged children in an educational or therapeutic setting preferred
• Strong understanding of speech and language development and related interventions
• Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, educators, and families
• Ability to adapt to a dynamic school environment and support diverse student needs
• Reliable, organized, and proactive in managing therapy schedules and caseloads

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language therapy services to students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
• Assist in the implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collect data and document student progress accurately
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support students’ success
• Prepare therapy materials and support classroom language activities
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities
