A full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) opportunity is available in the Perris/Moreno Valley/Menifee area, providing essential support within a school setting. This contract position offers a rewarding role assisting students under the supervision of certified Speech-Language Pathologists, focusing on enhancing communication skills in an educational environment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with the implementation of speech and language therapy plans
  • Supporting students' communication development in individual or group settings
  • Collaborating with educators and therapists to ensure continuity of care
  • Documenting student progress and maintaining accurate records
  • Participating in team meetings and training sessions as needed

Qualifications and desired experience:

  • Experience working as an SLPA in school and/or healthcare environments
  • Knowledge of speech-language development and therapy techniques applicable to school-aged children
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with students, families, and staff
  • Ability to follow therapy plans accurately and maintain confidentiality
  • Flexible and adaptable to meet the dynamic needs of a school environment

Location: Perris/Moreno Valley/Menifee area, California
