Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid SLPA license in California
  • Previous experience in school settings preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with SLPs, teachers, and families
  • Familiarity with conducting individual and group therapy sessions
  • Efficient time management and documentation abilities
  • Adaptability to meet diverse student needs

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy to students under guidance of a licensed SLP
  • Support students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) by implementing targeted treatment plans
  • Collect and maintain accurate data on student progress
  • Assist with screenings and assessments as assigned by supervising SLP
  • Communicate regularly with teachers and staff to foster student success
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute insights for student development
  • Ensure compliance with school policies and state regulations
