School Speech Language Pathologist Assistant - Irving, Texas

Step into an impactful role supporting students as a skilled Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in the Fort Worth area. This contract, part-time assignment offers the opportunity to work with K-8th grade students across two campuses, providing invaluable speech and language services that help young learners thrive.

You will collaborate with supervising Speech-Language Pathologists to deliver intervention, document progress, and work directly with a caseload of approximately 60 students. With a schedule of 20-25 hours per week, you’ll be able to make a meaningful difference in the educational journey of students while maintaining work-life balance. The assignment runs through the school year, ending in May 2027, allowing for long-term connection and continuity of care.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Must hold a valid SLPA license
• Previous experience working in a school setting is preferred
• Comfortable with K-8th grade populations
• Strong communication and documentation abilities
• Able to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Efficient in managing schedules across multiple campuses

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct therapy services according to students’ Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Support supervising SLP with assessments, therapy plans, and implementation
• Document student progress and assist in maintaining records
• Foster positive relationships with students, families, and staff
• Travel between two campuses in Fort Worth as part of weekly responsibilities
