School-Based Speech Language Pathologist Assistant - Jbsa Lackland, Texas

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid certification/licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
• Bilingual proficiency required to effectively support students and families
• Experience delivering speech and language therapy services within school settings preferred
• Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills
• Comfortable working with students ages Pre-K through high school
• Ability to follow individualized education plans (IEPs) and document progress clearly

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and indirect speech-language services as prescribed by supervising SLPs
• Assist in screenings, assessments, and data collection for students with communication needs
• Support classroom teachers and participate in student support teams as needed
• Engage with students and families in both English and another required language
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school and district guidelines
• Prepare instructional materials and activities that enhance students’ speech and language abilities
