Qualifications:
- Active SLPA licensure and good standing
- Bilingual proficiency required to effectively serve diverse student populations
- Previous experience working in a school environment as an SLPA
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for engaging with students, families, and staff
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage caseloads and documentation efficiently
- Passion for supporting children’s educational and developmental goals
Responsibilities:
- Assist licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in delivering therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals and district guidelines
- Conduct speech and language screenings and assist with assessments as directed
- Implement therapy plans and document student progress
- Collaborate with educational teams and participate in planning meetings
- Communicate with families and caregivers, supporting carryover of skills in home environments
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all state, federal, and district policies
