Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) in John Day, OR

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active SLPA license in Oregon (or reciprocity eligible)
• Previous school-based SLPA experience required
• Strong communication and organization skills

• Comfort collaborating virtually with a remote SLP
• Reliable transportation for travel between schools

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver onsite speech and language support and interventions to students as directed by the supervising SLP
• Track student progress and document session notes in accordance with school guidelines and professional standards
• Assist with conducting screenings and assessments as permitted under SLPA scope of practice
• Support teachers and staff with strategies and resources to foster students’ communication development
• Maintain effective communication between schools, the remote SLP, and other educational staff
