Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program
- Valid SLPA state licensure/certification (or eligibility) for Rhode Island
- Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Assist the Speech-Language Pathologist in providing direct and indirect therapy services
- Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) under supervision
- Prepare therapy materials and adapt resources to students' needs
- Collect data and document student progress
