Speech Language Pathologist Assistant in Katy, TX

Step into a rewarding contract position supporting students' growth and communication development as a full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for the 2024-2025 academic year. Key Qualifications:

• Current, valid SLPA licensure or certification
• Experience working in school or pediatric settings strongly preferred
• Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation
• Effective interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate with supervising SLPs, educators, and families
• Enthusiasm and dedication to helping students achieve communication goals

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy under SLP supervision
• Assist with development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Document student progress and maintain accurate records
• Participate in team meetings and collaborate on intervention strategies
• Utilize diverse therapy methods and resources to engage and motivate students
• Communicate regularly with staff and families to support student progress
