Speech Language Pathologist Assistant - Katy, TX

Make a real impact this school year as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) supporting students across both a middle school and high school setting. The assignment begins August 12, 2026, and runs through May 27, 2027, with a weekly schedule of 35 hours (7-hour days plus a lunch break). Part-time availability is also an option for candidates able to work at least three days each week.

Key Qualifications:

• Hold active state SLPA licensure
• Demonstrated experience working with school-aged children, particularly in educational settings
• Proficiency in sign language (conversational ability required)
• Flexibility to work across both middle and high school campuses
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organization skills
• Commitment to upholding high ethical and professional standards

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support to students with speech and communication needs under the guidance of a supervising SLP
• Collaborate closely with special education teams and classroom teachers
• Implement individualized student intervention plans and document progress
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student evaluations as needed
• Foster a welcoming, inclusive learning environment for all students
