Speech Language Pathologist Assistant in Katy, TX

You'll collaborate with a dedicated multi-disciplinary team, helping to implement and deliver individualized and group therapy sessions as outlined in students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Texas SLPA license or eligibility to obtain prior to starting
• Experience in school-based settings preferred, but newly licensed candidates encouraged to apply
• Familiarity with speech and language therapy techniques and documentation practices in educational environments
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with supervising SLPs, teachers, and families

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Provide therapy and support to students under supervision of a licensed SLP, following prescribed intervention plans
• Collect data on student progress and maintain accurate documentation
• Assist with administering screening tools and assessments as directed
• Contribute to IEP meetings by sharing student progress and insights
• Participate in team meetings, professional development, and ongoing training
• Support classroom teachers with strategies and resources for communication needs
