Key Qualifications:

  • Active California SLPA license required
  • Minimum of 3 months’ experience as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant in a school environment
  • Comfort working with young learners (TK-5)
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organization skills
  • Spanish bilingual skills are a plus, but not required
  • Eagerness to connect and align with the supervising SLP to ensure a great partnership

Responsibilities You’ll Take On:

  • Provide speech and language support services to elementary-aged students as directed by the lead SLP
  • Collect data and document student progress
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging environment for language growth
  • Prepare materials and adapt activities to tailor to each student’s needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and family members to support student learning
  • Adhere to all district- and state-level policies and procedures
