Qualifications & Skills:
- Valid SLPA license or certification
- Prior experience working with children or within a school setting preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to follow treatment plans and directions from supervising SLPs
- Organizational skills and attention to detail
- Enthusiasm for supporting students’ educational journeys
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students under supervision of an SLP
- Assist in preparing therapy materials and implementing lesson plans
- Record and document student progress in accordance with school and professional guidelines
- Participate in meetings and collaborate with educational staff regarding student progress and program modifications
- Support generalization of communication skills in classrooms and small groups
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all school policies and ethical standards
