Qualifications/Desired Skills:

  • Associate’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting (or equivalent)
  • Valid SLPA license for California
  • School-based SLPA experience preferred, but not required
  • Strong interpersonal skills and collaborative spirit
  • Commitment to supporting students’ communication needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students under supervision of an SLP
  • Implement, document, and monitor individualized education plan (IEP) goals
  • Communicate progress and participate in team meetings
  • Assist with screening and assessments as needed
  • Foster an inclusive and nurturing learning environment
