  • Associate’s degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or equivalent
  • Active SLPA license or eligibility to obtain in Tennessee
  • Previous school-based or pediatric experience is preferred
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with supervising SLP, teachers, and families
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and encouraging learning environment

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students under SLP supervision
  • Implement treatment plans and educational activities tailored to individual student needs
  • Collect data and document student progress as directed by the supervising SLP
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate on student care planning
  • Adapt therapy materials and methods to meet diverse cultural and developmental needs
  • Assist with screenings, assessments, and administrative activities as required
