Speech Language Pathologist Assistant - Lake Elsinore, CA

Desired Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or related field required
• Valid state license or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant
• Prior experience in a school setting preferred, but not required
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to follow individualized education plans (IEPs) and collaborate with supervising SLPs, teachers, and parents
• Organizational skills and flexibility when managing caseloads and documentation

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct therapy services to students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
• Support implementation of speech and language goals as outlined in IEPs
• Assist in conducting screenings and assessments as directed
• Document student progress and maintain records in accordance with district and legal standards
• Collaborate with educational staff and families to foster students’ progress
• Participate in meetings and professional development sessions
