Speech & Language Pathology Assistant in Lakebay, WA

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid SLPA licensure (or eligibility) in Washington
• Prior experience working within a school or pediatric setting is highly preferred
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organization skills
• Passion for student development and inclusive learning
• Ability to implement speech and language therapy activities under the supervision of an SLP
• Detail-oriented with a flexible and collaborative mindset

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support to students as outlined by the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist
• Carry out therapeutic interventions individually or in small groups
• Help prepare materials and maintain accurate documentation of student progress
• Engage in team meetings, parent conferences, and professional development as needed
• Adapt strategies to meet diverse student needs while fostering a positive and encouraging atmosphere
• Participate in collecting data and sharing student outcomes with supervising SLP and staff
