Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid SLPA licensure (or eligibility) in Washington
- Prior experience working within a school or pediatric setting is highly preferred
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organization skills
- Passion for student development and inclusive learning
- Ability to implement speech and language therapy activities under the supervision of an SLP
- Detail-oriented with a flexible and collaborative mindset
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support to students as outlined by the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist
- Carry out therapeutic interventions individually or in small groups
- Help prepare materials and maintain accurate documentation of student progress
- Engage in team meetings, parent conferences, and professional development as needed
- Adapt strategies to meet diverse student needs while fostering a positive and encouraging atmosphere
- Participate in collecting data and sharing student outcomes with supervising SLP and staff
