Take your speech-language pathology assistant expertise to the next level in the dynamic educational environment of the 2026-2027 school year. Two contract SLPA opportunities are available: one focused on supporting elementary school students, and another dedicated to middle school students, with preference for candidates who bring prior middle school experience.

You’ll be part of a supportive and collaborative team, with supervision and guidance provided by a virtual SLP. This role offers meaningful interaction with diverse learners and the ability to truly shape student progress and growth in communication skills.

Key Requirements:

  • Active (or eligibility for) Washington SLPA licensure, including fingerprinting through OSPI
  • Experience supporting students in educational settings
  • Middle school experience desired for the middle school role
  • Ability to work 37.5 hours per week, following the school calendar from ASAP through June 23, 2027
  • Effective communication, professionalism, and the desire to make a difference

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and indirect speech-language services to students, following individualized plans created by supervising SLP
  • Collect data and maintain accurate progress notes and documentation
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student growth
  • Assist in screening, assessment, and implementation of intervention activities
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development
