This contract position is full-time, with 30 to 35 hours per week, and is perfect for dedicated SLPA professionals who are certified and licensed. The role begins on March 16, 2026, just ahead of spring break. You'll enjoy the variety and experience of working itinerantly across multiple sites, focusing on students utilizing Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices.
What you’ll bring:
- Active SLPA certification and current state licensure
- Prior experience in school settings preferred
- Familiarity with AAC devices and technology
- Willingness to travel between multiple campus sites each week
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to supporting student progress and team collaboration
- Ability to adapt to changing school environments
Your role will include:
- Traveling among various sites within the district to provide direct support for students with communication needs
- Implementing therapy plans under licensed SLP supervision
- Solidifying speech and language skills, with special focus on students using AAC systems
- Documenting student progress and communicating effectively with supervising SLPs, staff, and families
- Participating in team meetings to collaboratively address goals and interventions
- Maintaining accurate records and following district procedures
- Mileage will be reimbursed (approximately 40-50 miles weekly)
