What You’ll Bring:
- Completion of an approved Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) program
- Active SLPA license or eligibility to practice in the state
- Experience supporting speech and language services, ideally in a school setting
- Ability to follow suggested therapy strategies and document student progress
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Compassionate approach when working with school-aged children and diverse student populations
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide therapeutic assistance and targeted speech-language interventions to students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
- Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and track student advancements
- Engage with teachers, parents, and staff to support students’ speech and language development in classroom settings
- Assist with the preparation of materials and resources for therapy sessions
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and reports in accordance with school protocols
