Bring your passion for helping students thrive as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant supporting multiple school campuses in the vibrant Fort Myers area. This contract-based opportunity is perfect for SLPAs eager to make a significant impact across elementary and middle school environments, with flexible part-time schedules and the possibility to expand into full-time hours as supervision becomes available.

You'll work with caseloads of 50-55 students, collaborating with teams at diverse school sites. Your expertise will help young learners strengthen their communication and language skills, shaping brighter academic and social futures.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current, active Florida DOH SLPA license (required)
  • Experience as an SLPA in school settings preferred
  • Familiarity with elementary and/or middle school populations
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to work at multiple locations, per supervision and assignment needs
  • Prepared to complete a fingerprinting/background check per state requirements

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language interventions following student IEPs
  • Assist supervising SLP with planning and implementing therapy programs
  • Track and document student progress, maintaining accurate records
  • Communicate effectively with supervising SLP, teachers, and parents
  • Support students individually or in small groups to improve speech/language skills
  • Adapt to rotating assignments across assigned schools to ensure student coverage
