We are seeking Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA) for contract assignments with a schedule of 37.5 hours per week, onsite at school facilities for the 2026-2027 academic year. Essential Skills and Experience
- Current, active North Carolina SLPA license required
- Experience working with school-age children preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to follow treatment plans designed by supervising SLPs
- Adaptable and organized in dynamic school settings
- Motivated to encourage student achievement and progress
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct therapy services to students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
- Support assessments and contribute to IEP implementation for students with speech and language needs
- Track student progress and maintain detailed records
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families as needed
- Adapt therapy techniques for individual and small group sessions
- Demonstrate professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions
