We're seeking dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) for contract positions. Key Qualifications and Skills:

  • Active SLPA license in Colorado
  • Previous school-based experience is highly valued
  • Familiarity with completing student assessments and implementing IEPs
  • Strong communication, documentation, and time management abilities
  • Comfort working with diverse learners across a wide age range
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with special education teams and follow supervisory guidance

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments for students requiring speech and language services
  • Provide direct and indirect interventions as outlined in student IEPs
  • Attend and contribute to IEP meetings with staff, families, and other service providers
  • Maintain thorough documentation of services delivered and student progress
  • Adjust strategies according to individual needs under the direction of an SLP supervisor
  • Foster supportive, inclusive learning environments to help students achieve communication success
