We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support students in a school-based setting. Under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), the SLPA will assist in implementing therapy plans, documenting student progress, and helping students improve their communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement speech and language therapy activities as directed by the supervising SLP
- Work one-on-one or in small groups with students to support communication goals
- Document student performance and progress accurately and in a timely manner
- Assist with preparing therapy materials and maintaining organized records
- Support classroom integration of speech and language strategies
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families as appropriate
- Adhere to all district policies, procedures, and confidentiality requirements
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or related field
- Valid SLPA license or certification in CO
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Basic knowledge of speech and language disorders and therapy techniques

Compensation for this position ranges from $26.18 to $46.18. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
