Make a meaningful impact supporting students as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant for the 2026-2027 school year. Several full-time contract opportunities are available for dedicated SLPAs to collaborate with elementary and middle school teams. You’ll contribute your clinical expertise and enthusiasm to help students strengthen their communication abilities and enjoy greater success in the classroom.

This assignment runs from August 12, 2026, through May 28, 2027, and is ideal for professionals seeking a rewarding, school-based environment.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid SLPA license or certification for the state of Colorado (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Previous experience in school settings, with elementary and/or middle school caseloads preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities with students, staff, and families
  • Ability to follow treatment plans, collect data, and document student progress
  • Commitment to fostering inclusion and supporting diverse learning needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language intervention services to students under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist
  • Carry out individualized educational plans (IEPs) or intervention plans as directed
  • Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapy sessions
  • Assist with screenings, assessments, and preparation of materials as needed
  • Participate in team meetings and collaborate with educators, therapists, and parents to support student goals
