What you bring:
- Current SLPA license or eligibility to practice as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant in California
- Previous exposure to school environments or healthcare settings (preferred)
- Strong communication skills and a passion for working with diverse student populations
- Ability to collaborate closely with supervising Speech-Language Pathologists, teachers, and other educational professionals
- Organizational skills and the ability to adapt to classroom routines and school schedules
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering speech and language therapy services as directed by supervising SLPs
- Supporting the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy goals
- Collecting data and maintaining accurate documentation on student progress
- Assisting with activities and exercises designed to improve communication skills
- Engaging positively with students, staff, and families to foster a supportive learning environment
