What you bring:

  • Current SLPA license or eligibility to practice as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant in California
  • Previous exposure to school environments or healthcare settings (preferred)
  • Strong communication skills and a passion for working with diverse student populations
  • Ability to collaborate closely with supervising Speech-Language Pathologists, teachers, and other educational professionals
  • Organizational skills and the ability to adapt to classroom routines and school schedules

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering speech and language therapy services as directed by supervising SLPs
  • Supporting the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy goals
  • Collecting data and maintaining accurate documentation on student progress
  • Assisting with activities and exercises designed to improve communication skills
  • Engaging positively with students, staff, and families to foster a supportive learning environment
