Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

  • Previous experience in school or pediatric settings preferred
  • Understanding of speech and language development
  • Familiarity with documentation and progress monitoring practices
  • Ability to follow treatment plans and work in coordination with supervising SLPs
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Adaptability to meet diverse student needs within educational environments

Responsibilities Include:

  • Conducting speech and language support sessions with individual students or small groups under supervision
  • Implementing therapy activities as outlined in students' individualized intervention plans
  • Assisting the supervising SLP in gathering information and documenting student progress
  • Supporting screening, assessment, and therapy preparation processes
  • Maintaining accurate records and supporting paperwork
  • Collaborating with teachers and staff to facilitate seamless communication interventions
  • Participating in staff meetings, ongoing training, and other school-based activities as needed
