Make an impact every day by supporting students in their communication journey. This rewarding full-time contract opportunity is perfect for a skilled Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) passionate about working in school settings and healthcare environments. You’ll provide valuable assistance during the academic year and into summer services, working closely with preschool and young children to help them reach their full potential.

Bring your expertise as a California-licensed SLPA to a nurturing environment. Your day will run from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, where you’ll lead engaging 20-30 minute group sessions (2-4 students each), and provide individualized, one-on-one support for preschoolers and “littles” who need a more personalized approach. Your guidance will be instrumental from now through early June 2025, spanning both Extended School Year (ESY) and Next School Year (NSY) programming.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Active California SLPA license required
  • Experience in both school and healthcare settings strongly preferred
  • Comfortable leading small groups and delivering tailored 1:1 interventions
  • Familiarity with early childhood speech and language development

What You’ll Do:

  • Conduct therapy sessions with small groups and individual students
  • Support IEP goals and document student progress
  • Collaborate with SLPs, teachers, and families to foster student growth
  • Create a welcoming, encouraging environment for young learners

Step into a role where every interaction matters, and where your support can change lives. If helping children communicate confidently excites you, apply today to take the next step in your SLPA career!

Compensation for this position ranges from $28.68 to $48.68. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
