Speech & Language Pathology Assistant in Los Banos, CA

Step into an essential role supporting students’ growth and communication needs as a contract Speech-Language Pathology Assistant in a welcoming educational environment. Your expertise will be put to use making a meaningful difference for preschool and elementary-age students, working both in small groups and, for some of the youngest learners, individualized 1:1 sessions.

What we're seeking:

• Valid California SLPA license
• Experience in school settings or healthcare as an SLPA
• Confidence overseeing 20-30 minute group sessions (2-4 students)
• Ability to adapt strategies for preschool-aged children and very young students
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational abilities
• Eagerness to collaborate with supervising SLPs, educators, and families

What you'll be doing:

• Deliver direct speech-language therapy based on student needs, with both group and individual interventions
• Assist with implementing treatment plans under SLP supervision
• Monitor and document student progress, communicating updates as needed
• Support students across ESY (Extended School Year) and NSY (New School Year)
• Foster a positive, inclusive learning atmosphere
• Maintain records in compliance with school and regulatory guidelines
