Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) supporting elementary-aged students from September 14th through December 23rd. This full-time role offers you the chance to make a positive impact within a vibrant school community near Lowell, MA. You'll work a consistent schedule, Monday through Friday, from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm, focusing on an elementary caseload.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Hold a valid SLPA license in Massachusetts
  • Previous experience working in a school setting or with pediatric populations preferred
  • Understanding of IEP processes and ability to support individualized therapy goals
  • Strong collaboration skills for working alongside SLPs, teachers, and school staff
  • Compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic about helping children achieve their communication goals
  • Effective communication abilities with students, team members, and families

Responsibilities:

  • Assist certified Speech-Language Pathologists with direct and indirect therapy services
  • Support students in meeting IEP goals related to speech and language development
  • Prepare and organize therapy materials as directed by supervising SLP
  • Collect data and document student progress on assigned caseload
  • Participate in team meetings and share insights on student progress
  • Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment in the classroom
