As a contract Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA), you’ll collaborate closely with an onsite SLP and make a genuine difference every day. This full-time role allows you to provide crucial therapy services and documentation that help shape successful learning experiences for young learners across grade levels.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid SLPA licensure/certification
  • Prior experience working with children or in a school-based environment preferred
  • Familiarity with K-12 student populations
  • Solid communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to follow treatment plans and work collaboratively with supervising SLPs
  • Proficiency in thorough documentation and progress monitoring

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging, goal-oriented speech and language therapy to students across K-12th grades
  • Maintain accurate records and timely documentation of student progress
  • Implement treatment plans as directed by the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Participate in team meetings, IEP development, and progress reporting
  • Build positive relationships with students, parents, staff, and other professionals within the school setting
  • Support classroom teachers and contribute to a welcoming, inclusive school environment
