Desired Qualifications:

  • Current North Carolina SLPA license is required.
  • Prior experience providing speech/language support in school settings preferred.
  • Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and supervising Speech Language Pathologists.
  • Motivated, compassionate, and adaptable to meet the unique needs of students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in implementing speech and language therapy plans developed by a certified Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Deliver direct therapy services to students in both individual and small group sessions.
  • Document progress and maintain accurate student records as required.
  • Collaborate with faculty, staff, and families to maximize each student’s success.
  • Participate in meetings as needed and contribute to development of student communication plans.
  • Adapt therapy activities and materials to meet individual student needs.
